Friðrik Vignir Stefánsson organisti Seltjarnarneskirkju

Friðrik Vignir Stefánsson earned a cantor’s degree at the National Church School of Music in 1987 and in 2005 he was a graduate student at the Royal Conservatory in Copenhagen for a year. For eighteen years Stefánsson was the organist and choir master of Grundarfjarðarkirkja church in Western Iceland. Over the years he has regularly attended organ courses abroad and given concerts in Iceland and abroad. Since 2007 he has been organist and musical director at Seltjarnarneskirkja church in the Reykjavík area.

Thursday 9 August at 12:00: Friðrik Vignir Stefánsson plays pieces by  G. Böhm, L. Marchand and Bach (Prelude and Fugue in D Minor). Admission: ISK 2.000.
