Elísabet Þórðardóttir studied the piano and graduated from the New Music School in Reykjavik in 2001 with Rögnvaldur Sigurjónsson and Ragnar Björnsson as principal teachers. 2001‒2004 she studied at the “Musikhochschule Luzern” in Switzerland. In 2012 Elísabet began her studies as a church musician at the National Church of Iceland’s Music School under the guidance of Björn Steinar Sólbergsson with graduation in the spring of 2017 and soloist diploma in 2018. Since 2006 Elísabet has taught the piano at the Hafnarfjörður Music School as well as providing accompaniment. She has been the organist of Kálfatjarnarkirkja church on Reykjanes peninsula since 2012 and since 2017 the organist of Laugarneskirkja church in Reykjavík.

Irena Chřibkováis the head organist of St. James’ Basilica in the Old Town of Prague. There she has founded several cycles of sacred music, including the St. James´ International Organ Festival which ranks among the leading European festivals. Her Sunday half-an-hour organ music in the Basilica are extremely popular.

Irena Chřibková studied the organ at the Kroměříž Conservatoire under K. Pokora, at the Academy of Arts in Prague under Prof M. Šlechta (1980-1986) and in Parisunder Susan Landale (1985). Successes at numerous organ competitions promoted her concert career and she has toured extensively as a concert artist widely around the world. She has also cooperated with leading musicians, choirs and orchestras. 

Ms Chřibková’s repertoire includes organ literature ranging from Baroque up to contemporary music with emphasis on French organ music, the organ music of J. S. Bach and Czech organ music with emphasis on her predecessors at the organ in the St. James’ Basilika.
