Tónlistarviðburður ársins- Jólaóratórían eftir J.S. Bach hlýtur tilnefningu til Íslensku tónlistarverðlaunanna 2022

The Music Event of the Year. Classical and modern music. 

The Reykjavik Friends of the Arts Society is extremely happy that the Iceland Music Awards 2022 has nominated the Christmas Oratorio by J.S.Bach in Harpa last November as The Music Event of the Year in the catagory Classical and modern music.

The Reykjavik Friends of the Arts Society wants to thank all the outstanding performers: 

Mótettukórinn ( The Motet choir), The Reykjavik International Baroque Orchestra-concertmaster Tuomi Suni, Herdís Anna Jónasdóttir soprano, Alex Potter countertenor, Benjamin Glaubitz tenor and Jóhann Kristinsson bass and Hörður Áskelsson conductor.

The celebrations will take place in Harpa Wednesday March 30 at 8 pm and will be sent out directly on RÚV.
