The Reykjavik Friends of the Arts Society 42. season
UMBRA celebrates ten years of music and merrymaking, in collaboration with The Reykjavík Friends of the Arts Society. Joining the band are dear collaborators, outstanding Icelandic musicians in their own right, that have performed on the group’s past albums; Out of Darkness, Llibre vermell and Bjargrúnir. The audience will be guided through songs of pilgrims and vagabonds, royalty from distant lands and damsels in despair. The concert will also feature new music that UMBRA is currently composing to old verses of The Poetic Edda; from Völuspá.
