Hannfried Lucke studied in his home town of Freiburg/Breisgau in Germany, at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, and with Lionel Rogg in Geneva. In 1997 he became organ professor in Graz in Austria and since 2000 he has been professor of organ at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. Lucke has given concert performances in most European countries, the USA, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong and Australia. He regularly gives master classes in Europe, USA and Japan and serves frequently as juror at international organ competitions.
