He started playing brass instruments at the age of ten and graduated from the Reykjavík College of Music in 2006. That same year Johann moved to France for further studies with Eric Aubier in Conservatoire de Rueil-Malmaison where Johann won a “1er prix” with highest distinction, after only one year. He has worked as freelance player in orchestras such as the Orchestre de Paris, Ensemble Intercontemporain, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio-France, Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, The Paris Opera, Macao Symphony Orchestra, Limoges Opera, Orchestre Pasdeloup, Orchestre Lamoureux, Orchestre de chambre de Versailles. During the years 2013-2015 Johann was principal trumpet of the Orchestre des Lauréats du Conservatoire in Paris. Johann Nardeau is a laureate of International trumpet competitions in Budapest (2009) and Moscow (2011). He is an active member of the Parisian Brass ensemble Cu2+, Sécession Orchestra and Paris Mozart Orchestra to name a few. Since 2017 Johann teaches trumpet in the Sèvres Conservatory in the vicinity of Paris.
Baldvin Oddsson graduated from Manhattan School of Music in December 2016. He won the Iceland Symphony Orchestra Young Musician Award and played as a soloist with the orchestra.
