H\u00f6r\u00f0ur \u00c1skelsson is the conductor of Schola cantorum.<br \/>\nTicket price is 2.700 ISK.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About SCHOLA CANTORUM \u2013 CHAMBER CHOIR OF HALLGR\u00cdMSKIRKJA.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Schola Cantorum Reykjavicensis was founded in 1996 by the conductor H\u00f6r\u00f0ur \u00c1skelsson, the cantor at Hallgr\u00edmskirkja (Hallgrim\u2019s Church) in Reykjav\u00edk. Schola Cantorum has from the very start played an important role in the Icelandic music scene with a repertoire that consists mainly of renaissance, baroque and contemporary music including numerous premier performances of works by Icelandic composers.
