Native of Stockholm, he is a graduate from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm (Kungliga Musikho\u0308gskolan) where he studied organ interpretation with Mathias Kjellgren and improvisation with Nils Larsson. Johannes continued his studies at the Paris Conservatory (Conservatoire National Supe\u0301rieur de Musique de Paris) in the organ class of Olivier Latry and Michel Bouvard.<\/p>\n He also studied organ interpretation with Louis Robilliard and organ improvisation with Laszlo Fassang and Thierry Escaich. In the summer of 2017, he became the only student ever to receive the highest grade in organ interpretation (mention tre\u0300s bien a\u0300 l\u2019unanimite\u0301 avec fe\u0301licitations du jury), both years of the master\u2019s program at the Paris Conservatory.<\/p>\n
