Tomorrow at noon, Wednesday August 24, soprano Thelma Hr\u00f6nn Sigurd\u00f3rsd\u00f3ttir will sing this famous Ave Mar\u00eda, accompanied by the Klais organ of the church.<\/p>\n<p>Schola Cantorum\u2019s summer concert series, aiming at introducing Icelandic music to travellers, have been highly popular this year. Tomorrow\u00b4s programme is a mixture of folk songs and newer choral pieces, spiced with a bit of H\u00e4ndel and Byrd. Schola cantorum is considered one of the very best choirs in Iceland.<\/p>\n<p>The concert starts at 12 noon.
