In honour of Nordal\u2019s ninetieth birthday last March, The Icelandic Academy of the Arts and The Hallgrimskirkja Friends of the Arts Society give a festive concert.<a href=\"https:\/\/listvinafelag.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/Nordal.png\" rel=\"lightbox[3151]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-3148 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/listvinafelag.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/Nordal-207x300.png\" alt=\"Nordal\" width=\"207\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/listvinafelag.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/Nordal-207x300.png 207w, https:\/\/listvinafelag.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/Nordal-101x146.png 101w, https:\/\/listvinafelag.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/Nordal-34x50.png 34w, https:\/\/listvinafelag.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/Nordal-52x75.png 52w, https:\/\/listvinafelag.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/Nordal.png 267w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width:767px) 207px, 207px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The concert will feature Nordal\u2019s organ works, chamber music, orchestral works and choir pieces, all performed by the talented students of the Academy. Between 70 and 80 musicians partake in the event.<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration between the Academy and Hallgr\u00edmskirkja started in 2015 and it\u00b4s aim is allowing students to discover the magical Klais-organ and the acoustics of the church and at the same time giving art lovers an opportunity to discover talented and upcoming musicians.<\/p>\n<p>The concert is on Saturday April 30<sup>th<\/sup> at 2 pm.
